My Role:
Graphic Designer
Product:
The Care Standard – A monthly newsletter distributed across all facilities within Spring Hills Senior Communities and its sister company, Renaissance.
My Responsibilities:
Print design, branding, content curation.
Problem:
Prior to the introduction of The Care Standard, internal communication was limited to a select group of employees and managers through email. This restricted the flow of important updates, achievements, and announcements to a broader audience within the organization. The lack of an effective communication channel meant that many employees were unaware of key company milestones, accomplishments, or even developments happening in sister companies.
Goal:
The goal of The Care Standard was to create a unified platform for communication that would bridge the gap between employees across different levels and locations within the company. It aimed to:
Strengthen ties between Spring Hills Senior Communities and its sister company, Renaissance, by allowing employees to learn about each other’s successes and initiatives.
Foster a sense of connection and shared purpose among employees.
Ensure that all staff, from front-line workers to leadership, were informed about company achievements, announcements, and news.
